  • Health Care & Life Sciences Reporter

    • I cover hospitals, pharmaceutical makers, insurance providers, public health policy, life sciences companies and healthtech startups. This includes some of the world’s largest companies that are headquartered in Chicago, including Walgreens, AbbVie, Abbott and GE HealthCare. I also help craft and write Health Pulse, Crain's tri-weekly health care newsletter.

      Additional duties include regularly organizing and moderating Crain's events, and contributing to Crain's Daily Gist podcast and special features, such as Crain's 40 Under 40 list and the Power 25 list. I also appear as a guest on       local radio and podcasts, including WGN, WBEZ, CBS News affiliate WBBM Newsradio, WLS-AM 890 and City Cast Chicago.

  • Associate Editor

    • I covered technology, startups, venture capital and commercial real estate for the Chicago Business Journal and Chicago Inno, two brands under the ACBJ umbrella.

      I co-authored "The Beat," Chicago Inno's daily email newsletter, and regularly planned, organized and moderated programming for Inno events, such as award ceremonies, networking meet-ups and topic-focused panels. Other duties included managing Inno's social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, to drive site traffic and connect with readers. I also contributed weekly to WGN Chicago Radio as a guest on the Wintrust Business Lunch

      Additionally, I co-founded Wisconsin Inno in 2018, which covers tech and startups across the state in Green Bay, Madison and Milwaukee. Prior to a company restructuring in 2020, I oversaw and edited editorial content for Inno's Wisconsin, Minneapolis and Cincinnati markets.
